Description

Delightful crispy wonton tacos filled with savory teriyaki chicken, fresh toppings, and a satisfying crunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour enough oil into a separate frying pan to cover the bottom and heat until it shimmers.
  4. Take a wonton wrapper and place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center.
  5. Carefully fold it into a triangle shape, sealing the edges tightly.
  6. Gently place the sealed wontons into the hot oil, frying them for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  7. Once crispy, drain the wontons on paper towels, letting them rest.
  8. Assemble your tacos by placing the crispy wontons upright, filling them with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and green onions. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish.
