Description

A succulent slow-cooked ham glazed with a sweet and tangy mixture, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bone-in ham (4 to 6 pounds)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the ham in the crockpot, cut-side down.
  2. Make the glaze by whisking together brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the ham generously with the glaze mixture.
  4. Slow cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Rest the ham for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve the sliced ham on a platter with remaining glaze drizzle.

Notes

For a different flavor, replace honey with maple syrup or use apple juice instead of cider vinegar. Allow the ham to rest after cooking for best results.
