Description

A refreshing no-bake cheesecake infused with vibrant orange flavors, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 1 large orange)
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 tsp orange extract (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (for whipping cream)
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • Orange zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar. Stir in melted unsalted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Make the filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, fresh orange juice, orange zest, and orange extract (if using). Beat until well combined.
  3. Whip the cream: In another bowl, whip heavy whipping cream with granulated sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Combine and set: Pour the filling onto the chilled crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  5. Prepare the orange syrup: In a small saucepan, combine fresh orange juice with powdered sugar. Simmer on low heat until it thickens slightly. Let it cool.
  6. Serve the cheesecake: Drizzle cooled orange syrup over the top or garnish with additional orange zest before slicing. Serve cold.

Notes

Make a day ahead for enhanced flavors. Can be customized with different citrus fruits.
