Description

Indulge in these chewy Double Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookies filled with rich chocolate chunks and decadent salted caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chunks gently.
  7. Scoop portions of dough, fill with salted caramel, and shape into balls.
  8. Place on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  9. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  10. Sprinkle with sea salt after baking and allow to cool on a wire rack.

Notes

Refrigerate cookie dough for up to three days before baking. You may also bake them in an air fryer at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes.
