- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- Sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks gently.
- Scoop portions of dough, fill with salted caramel, and shape into balls.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Sprinkle with sea salt after baking and allow to cool on a wire rack.
Notes
Refrigerate cookie dough for up to three days before baking. You may also bake them in an air fryer at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes.
