- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 package German chocolate cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Layer shredded coconut and nuts at the bottom of the pan.
- Combine the cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and vegetable oil in a bowl and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the coconut and nuts in the pan.
- Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drop dollops of the cream cheese mix over the batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan before serving.
