Description

Crispy taquitos filled with creamy shredded chicken and melted cheese, perfect for a cozy meal or party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Shredded Chicken Breast
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella)
  • 8 Flour or Corn Tortillas
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the filling by combining shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Prepare the tortillas by spooning in a generous amount of the chicken mixture and rolling tightly.
  4. Arrange the rolled taquitos seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  5. Brush the tops of each taquito with olive oil to ensure a crispy finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

Notes

For best results, use leftover rotisserie chicken and keep your tortillas warm to prevent cracking while rolling.
