Description
Succulent lamb chops glazed with a sweet-tart pomegranate sauce, creating a delightful balance of flavors for any special occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lamb chops
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh pomegranate seeds for garnish
- Fresh herbs (mint or rosemary)
Instructions
- Make the glaze: In a small saucepan, combine the pomegranate juice, honey, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Bring this mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Stir occasionally and allow it to reduce until slightly thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
- Prepare the lamb: Season your lamb chops generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the lamb chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Glaze the chops: In the last minute of cooking, brush the pomegranate glaze over the lamb chops.
- Rest and garnish: Remove the chops from heat and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with fresh pomegranate seeds and herbs.
Notes
Let the lamb chops rest before serving for juiciness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
