Description

A succulent glazed ham adorned with a sweet and tangy glaze, perfect for festive occasions and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 810 pounds)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
  3. Mix together the brown sugar, orange juice, pineapple juice, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves to create a glaze.
  4. Brush the ham generously with the glaze.
  5. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for about 90 to 120 minutes, basting every 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes of baking.
  7. Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, prepare the glaze a day prior and store it in the fridge. Avoid overcooking and ensure to let the ham rest after baking.
