Description

A delightful Hasselback sausage dish, combining juicy kielbasa with smoky BBQ sauce and fresh herbs for a flavorful experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large kielbasa sausage (about 1216 oz)
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the kielbasa on a cutting board. With a sharp knife, make thin slices across the kielbasa, about ½ inch apart.
  2. Mix the BBQ sauce with minced garlic, if desired, in a small bowl.
  3. Brush the kielbasa all over with olive oil and lay it on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
  4. Spoon the BBQ sauce generously over the top, allowing it to seep into the grooves.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until caramelized and heated through.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead by preparing and cutting the sausage the night before and storing in the fridge. Use an air fryer for a quicker option.
