Delicious baked mozzarella sticks that are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, perfect for snacking or entertaining.
Ingredients

- Fresh Mozzarella Cheese (low-moisture)
- Breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Flour
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Italian Herbs (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Set up your dredging station with flour in one dish, whisked eggs in a second dish, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and seasonings in a third.
- Slice the mozzarella into sticks about 1-inch wide and 3-4 inches long.
- Coat each cheese stick in flour, then dip into the egg wash, and finally roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated sticks on the baking sheet with space in between each.
- Bake for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For added texture, consider using panko breadcrumbs. Make ahead and freeze for later enjoyment.
