Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
Instructions
- Pour the heavy cream into a medium saucepan and place it on the stove over medium heat. Stir occasionally to help it heat evenly.
- Gently stir the cream until it warms up and begins to simmer. Look for small bubbles forming around the edges.
- Remove from heat just before it reaches a full boil.
- Add the chocolate chips on top of the hot cream and allow the mixture to rest for 3-5 minutes.
- Stir gently with your heat-resistant spatula or whisk until smooth and glossy.
- Allow to cool slightly before using for drizzling or filling.
Notes
Ganache can be made a day in advance and reheated gently when needed. For flavor variations, consider adding espresso powder or liqueur.
