Description

A rich and velvety chocolate ganache that enhances any dessert with its luscious texture and intense flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

Instructions

  1. Pour the heavy cream into a medium saucepan and place it on the stove over medium heat. Stir occasionally to help it heat evenly.
  2. Gently stir the cream until it warms up and begins to simmer. Look for small bubbles forming around the edges.
  3. Remove from heat just before it reaches a full boil.
  4. Add the chocolate chips on top of the hot cream and allow the mixture to rest for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Stir gently with your heat-resistant spatula or whisk until smooth and glossy.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before using for drizzling or filling.

Notes

Ganache can be made a day in advance and reheated gently when needed. For flavor variations, consider adding espresso powder or liqueur.
