- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the glaze: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, orange juice, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and Dijon mustard until well combined.
- Score the ham: Place your spiral ham in a roasting pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern.
- Glaze it generously: Brush the glaze all over the ham.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 1.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Uncover for the last 30 minutes to allow caramelization.
- Rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of bourbon to the glaze or using a different citrus juice.
