Description

A crispy and juicy chicken sandwich drizzled with spicy honey, paired with crunchy pickles and fresh lettuce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce (Sriracha or your choice)
  • 4 brioche or potato burger buns
  • Sliced pickles
  • Fresh lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each breast in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Fry the chicken in a hot skillet or deep fryer until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Make the hot honey sauce by combining honey and hot sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
  5. Toast the cut sides of the buns until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the sandwich with fried chicken, drizzle with hot honey sauce, and add pickles and lettuce before topping with the bun.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a healthier option, consider using an air fryer for the chicken. You can also customize the sandwich with toppings like avocado or jalapeños for added flavors.
