Description

A delightful twist on the classic pigs in a blanket, these Jalapeño Popper Pigs combine juicy sausages with creamy cheese and spicy jalapeños, encased in flaky pastry.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Little Sausages (cocktail sausages or mini hot dogs)
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese
  • 23 Jalapeños, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1 package Puff Pastry or Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded (optional)
  • Seasoning (garlic powder or smoked paprika, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the dough into squares or rectangles, about 3 inches by 3 inches.
  3. Place a dollop of cream cheese on each piece of dough and add a slice of jalapeño.
  4. Add a sausage on top of the cream cheese and jalapeño.
  5. Wrap the dough around each sausage, pinching the edges to seal.
  6. Brush melted butter over the wrapped sausages.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

You can prepare these bites a day ahead and bake just before serving. They can also be air-fried for a healthier option.
