Description

A delightful dessert combining flaky puff pastry with a creamy mascarpone filling, enhanced by lemon curd and fresh berries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon curd
  • Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
  • 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface, cutting it into your desired shapes.
  3. Arrange the pastry shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the edges of each shape with the egg wash.
  5. Combine mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl, mixing until smooth.
  6. Spoon a dollop of mascarpone mixture into the center of each pastry shape and add lemon curd on top.
  7. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling, creating pockets.
  8. Brush the tops of the pastries with egg wash.
  9. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly and top with fresh berries before serving.

Notes

Make the mascarpone mixture a day in advance for best results. Consider using an air fryer as an alternative cooking method.
