Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare your baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Mix the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt) in a large mixing bowl.
- Incorporate the wet ingredients (melted butter and eggs) into the dry mixture until well combined.
- Add the mini marshmallows and chopped nuts, folding them gently into the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes on a wire rack.
- Prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and a pinch of salt until creamy.
- Frost the cooled cake generously with the frosting.
- Slice into squares and serve.
Notes
For variations, try adding caramel or peanut butter, or substitute dark chocolate for cocoa powder.
