Description

Indulge in these rich and chewy M&M Double Chocolate Cookies, perfectly combining the bitterness of cocoa with colorful bursts of M&Ms.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened to room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, corn starch, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well blended.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and M&Ms.
  7. Scoop the dough onto prepared cookie sheets, spacing them 1.5-2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes, removing them when the tops look set.
  9. Cool on the sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

You can refrigerate the cookie dough for up to 2 days before baking, and feel free to customize with nuts or different chocolates.
