- 8 oz (225g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 20 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
- 1 cup (175g) white chocolate chips (optional, for dipping)
- 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for dipping)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Soften cream cheese at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Crush chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor or zip-top bag.
- Combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.
- Fold in most of the crushed cookies.
- Shape the mixture into 1 tablespoon balls.
- Chill for 10-15 minutes in the fridge.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip each ball in melted chocolate and place on a lined tray.
- Final chill for another 10 minutes to set the chocolate.
Notes
These cheesecake balls can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen for a month.
