Description

Delicious chicken coated in a crispy pretzel crust, served with a rich mustard cheddar sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a dredging station with flour, whisked eggs, and crushed pretzels.
  3. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the eggs, and coat with crushed pretzels.
  5. Place coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Mix together cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise to create the creamy sauce.
