Description

A versatile and delicious quesadilla recipe with gooey cheese and endless filling options.


Ingredients

  • 4 Flour tortillas
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese (Monterey Jack, cheddar, or pepper jack)
  • 1 cup Mixed fillings (grilled chicken, sautéed bell peppers, mushrooms, black beans, or spinach)
  • Oil or butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Prepare the tortilla by laying one flat in the skillet for about 30 seconds.
  3. Sprinkle an even layer of cheese over half of the tortilla.
  4. Layer your choice of fillings on top of the cheese.
  5. Fold the empty half of the tortilla over to form a half-moon shape.
  6. Cook for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy, then flip to cook the other side.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve with dips.

Notes

Allow quesadillas to rest for a minute after cooking for easier slicing. Customize with different ingredients as desired.
