Description

A delightful medley of roasted pears, tangy goat cheese, and a luscious maple walnut drizzle that evokes comfort and warmth.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the pears by placing them on a baking sheet, drizzling with olive oil, and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake the pears for 20-25 minutes until tender.
  4. Toast the walnuts in a small skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Create the maple walnut drizzle by adding maple syrup to the toasted walnuts.
  6. Top the pears with crumbled goat cheese and drizzle the walnut mixture over them.
  7. Serve warm as an appetizer or dessert.
