Description

A delicious salmon dish with a fiery twist, drizzled with hot honey for a unique blend of sweetness and spice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet: Set your non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil, allowing it to heat up until it shimmers.
  2. Season the salmon: While the oil heats, sprinkle the fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Sear the salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot skillet, cooking for about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Flip and finish cooking: Gently flip the fillets; cook for another 3-4 minutes until they flake easily with a fork.
  5. Drizzle with hot honey: In the last minute of cooking, drizzle the hot honey over the salmon.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges: Plate your salmon and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Make the hot honey in advance by warming honey and infusing it with chili flakes or hot sauce.
