Description

Delicious meatballs coated in a rich hoisin and soy sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag frozen meatballs
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep your sauce: In a sturdy saucepan, combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger. Set the heat to medium and stir well to blend these flavorful ingredients.
  2. Add the frozen meatballs to your saucepan, gently stirring them to coat in the sauce. Allow them to heat through, which should take about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure they heat evenly and soak up the flavors.
  3. Transfer the meatballs to a serving dish. Generously sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for that final touch of flavor and presentation.

Notes

For bolder flavor, let the meatballs simmer in the sauce for a few extra minutes. Can be made ahead by prepping sauce in advance.
