Description

A delightful dish combining succulent shrimp and pasta in a creamy sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz linguine or fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon zest for garnish
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: Add shrimp in a single layer, cook until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  4. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add white wine, simmer, then stir in cream and bring to a boil.
  5. Combine Everything: Reduce heat, add pasta and reserved water, then toss in shrimp and bell peppers.
  6. Finish and Serve: Top with Parmesan, lemon juice, and fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Make ahead by prepping shrimp and sauce in advance. Reheat gently before serving.
