Instructions
- Prep the steak by allowing it to reach room temperature, pat dry, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Heat your cast iron skillet over high heat until it smokes.
- Sizzle the steak in the skillet with a touch of avocado oil, enjoying the sound.
- Flip the steak after a crust forms, adding butter, garlic, and herbs to baste.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer aiming for 130°F for medium-rare.
