Description

A vibrant and satisfying steak salad topped with homemade Asian dressing and roasted cashews.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Grilled Steak (Flank or Sirloin)
  • 4 cups Cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Cashews

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak in soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  3. Grill the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Rest the steak for a few minutes after grilling.
  5. Prepare the cabbage and cucumber by slicing them into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Combine the sliced cabbage and cucumber in a large bowl.
  7. Slice the rested steak against the grain into thin slices.
  8. Assemble the salad with sliced steak on top of the vegetables.
  9. Dress the salad with homemade Asian dressing.
  10. Garnish with roasted cashews and serve immediately.

Notes

Marinating the steak overnight enhances the flavor. Keep the dressing separate if storing leftovers.
