- 3½–4 cups all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries by dicing and mixing with sugar.
- Make the custard by heating cream, whole milk, and salt.
- Whisk egg yolks and granulated sugar until thick.
- Combine warm milk mixture with egg yolks slowly.
- Thicken the custard by adding cornstarch slurry.
- Prepare the donut dough by mixing warm milk with yeast.
- Mix the dough with flour and salt until smooth.
- Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
- Shape the donuts and let them rise again.
- Fry the donuts until golden brown.
- Fill the donuts with the chilled custard.
Notes
You can substitute strawberries with other berries or use an air fryer for a healthier option.
