- 1 cup heavy cream (for whipped cream)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Combine your flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the heavy cream and gently stir until just combined.
- Knead the dough gently on a floured surface until it comes together, then press to 1 inch thick.
- Cut out biscuits with a round cutter and place on a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Sprinkle strawberries with sugar and let sit for 30 minutes.
- Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Assemble by slicing biscuits in half, layering with strawberries and whipped cream.
