- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar (for strawberries)
- Whipped cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gently stir in the heavy cream until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 10-12 times.
- Roll out to about 1 inch thick and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix the sliced strawberries with 1/4 cup of sugar and let them sit to release their juices.
- Slice the cooled biscuits in half horizontally and layer with strawberries and whipped cream.
