- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
- 2 to 3 tablespoons warm water (for sauce)
- 4 burger buns, toasted
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves (for garnish)
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, cilantro, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Form the mixture into four equal patties, making an indentation in the center of each.
- Heat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat, lightly oiling the surface.
- Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and sriracha in a separate bowl, adding warm water to achieve a smooth consistency.
- Assemble the burgers with peanut sauce, turkey patty, carrots, cucumber, cilantro, and red onion on toasted buns.
- Serve warm, with extra peanut sauce on the side if desired.
