Description

Experience the savory goodness of crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and gooey cheese nestled between golden slices of sourdough bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 strips bacon
  • 2 slices cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. Scramble eggs in the bacon grease, adding salt and pepper, until fluffy.
  3. Butter one side of a slice of sourdough bread and place it butter-side down in the skillet.
  4. Layer cooked bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheese on the bread in the skillet.
  5. Add another slice of buttered bread on top, butter-side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until browned and cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm, sliced in half for gooey goodness.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute turkey bacon or egg whites. For variation, try different cheeses or add veggies.
