Description

A deliciously juicy burger that features a seasoned beef patty topped with melting butter, fresh toppings, and nestled in a toasted bun.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 toasted burger buns
  • Cheddar or American cheese (optional)
  • Fresh lettuce
  • Ripe tomatoes
  • Onions, sliced
  • Pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into patties slightly larger than the buns.
  3. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
  5. Add a small pat of butter on each patty in the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast the burger buns until golden.
  7. Assemble the burger by placing the patty on the bun and adding cheese and toppings.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Let patties sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking for even results. Avoid overhandling the meat.
